Hahahaha, relaxing

It sounds like it should be in Super Mario Bros. 3, I don't know why... It could be background music for the inside of a weird Rito shrine or something in a Zelda game, hahaha, the lack of melody makes it seem that way, that it should be in a house or something on Dragon Roost, maybe an ice cave... I don't know, but I like it.

Nice job, but...

The strings lag a little making it seem like it isn't in time. Other than that I think it sounds great. I LIKE that you changed the style and instrumentation. If you had simply done exactly what was in the game with a few minor tweeks then you would hardly deserve any credit, or a high score for that matter. The point of remaking songs is to hear it in a new way, otherwise we could all just listen to the original...

Sweet!

My only real problems were the "vibes," how they seemed crushed on the runs and glisses, and some of the voices are too loud for the entire thing. But I really like it! Its a neat take on the original. Its more "spacy" and has a nice over all feel. If you wanted to fix these things you'd have a pretty awesome piece here!

Thanks I'll see what I can do

Nice!

I like the way the strings are used. It IS very similar to the original, and it makes a nice loop. It would be cool to have the bass line move more, more musicality you know? But great job!

LoopDaLoop responds:

I know it sounds very similar :p

Thanks for the review :)

Pretty nice!

I was so happy to hear Korobuschka! (TETRIS!!) Its a great song! Im sure this all took a while if you wrote it all in yourself. I do feel a few pieces are too fast to be fully enjoyed, but then again it gives you a flash of nostalgia, and lets you hear the songs in a new way. Great Job!

Very nice

I like your take on these tunes. I wish it would sound more full in areas though. And you should make an ending or loop it or something. One thing I can't stand is songs that seem to just fade away unfinished, lol, but thats my personal preference, so I didn't count off for it. Nice job. I must say my favorite part is the end of Serenade of Water, sounds great at this tempo and adds something refreshing to the piece, dont know why exactly.

I also love the beginning how the percussion comes in is just great. And the Ordon Village part is done well.

Made my day!!

This is such a great piece, and you recreated it very well, love the guitar, great style, haha. Not much else I can say. I'm confused about :18 though. Did you mean to write it that way? It seems really out of place if you did, just my opinion. But it doesn't ruin the piece!!

really nice!

I love this version!! Its so different and relaxing. just GREAT!

thanks

Let's see...

I like this take on the piece, a very beautiful and nostalgic piece for me. I feel there are some tempo issues in there, or at least some things seem a bit... off.

And the part at :45 sounds really empty to me. It sounds like everything is unison, where a little variation in pitch would fill up the space. I'm sure there are some chords and stuff you could use. And the ending isn't really an ending, but I know how difficult it can be to come up with a finish to a song that is only heard in an eternal loop... lol.

Besides that, I like it, and think its a great take on the theme. Clean it up a little and it should sound really good!

Very helpful review, thank you. I'll get around to a 3.0 soon.

Really Good!, pretty funny too, haha.

I love the style change for the piece, it adds a little color to the pool of Saria reduxes if you know what I mean. Its very relaxing.
