I like it!
I just wish it were longer, or that the loop lined up exactly, but maybe that's just my computer or something... but a build into other instruments or something woulda been cool. I love the kalimba (or whatever it is, marimba maybe...)

the loop is flawless, its hard to recreate it by streaming the file
the kalimba is the only traditional element of this remix

I liked it! I don't really like harpsichord, but it sounds great here! The lack of bass makes me think of someone playing unseen in a giant cathedral in the medieval days... pretty cool.
pretty nice...
I liked your melodies, especially around the 1:00 mark. It would be cool if you added on, and added strings or something with swells and stuff to enhance the melody, you have some nice stuff that could really be effective! I must admit I'm not crazy about the ending at all... but the rest is really nice!
interesting sounds!
I wish it would have developed more though. And something sounds off to me about the phrase transitions, maybe its nothing. I like this version though, kinda reminds me of Carol of the Bells...
hava nagila!!
I enjoyed it! but the song stays the same the whole time, except for the octave change at the end. It got a little old in this way. Still good though. also, I thought it was a little fast for the beat used... fun song though!
pretty sweet!
I love this song... nice job of revoicing
I instantly loved it from the beginning!
THIS is what biology "sounds" like to me! Visions of the first life being formed in a pool somewhere in a pool of water, lightning silently raging in the distance in bright flashes of blazing white.... its so nice
thanks :) i've always had an interest in biology and astronomy and this is what it sounds like to me too! the pusling vibrations of life itself. a beautiful thing. thanks for listening :)
so awesome!!!!
The feel of the guitar instantly says rain, I image sitting by a big window under grey skies in the spring with water running down the glass next to my face, and thats the guitar alone! I love how the strings build up and just drop short, its RAIN! This song IS rain! lol. So fitting.... so reminiscent.....
i'm glad you enjoyed this one. thanks for listening.
sweet!
I instantly lit up when the tablas and zills came in. pretty cool, love the sitar, but it is a little short and doesn't seem to finish the idea. interesting sounds though, keep it up! I wish I had this kind of stuff to work with, I'd never be bored again!
thanks for the review! indeed i never finished the idea, theres about another 2 mins to this track but I scrapped the idea months ago.
always a pleasure to hear when someone's interested in worldly-influenced music. I must say though, I got a bunch of new sounds/instruments/samples around the same time, and despite having fresh sounds, it took me awhile to regain compositional ideas that I was satisified with. Stay creative and try innovating sounds with what you have, see how it turns out!
